But I would like to write a sort of an update, because a lot of interesting … Continue reading Of Short Stories, Summer and Splendid Updates

I think I accidentally killed my video on YouTube, @morinakutija channel, by sharing it at the wrong time. 😆 So, in case you missed it, I have a rec video for horror books written by women (in Croatian, Preporuke za čitanje - žene u hororu).
Super excited for this book of short Bosnian horror stories, Bašeskijini mrtvi by Alma Zornić. It came just in the right time for my women in horror month reading plan. I wanted to focus on more local and regional authors this March and this book had been too long on my tbr. 😊 These stories will be part of my one story in the morning rutine and I'm happy to say I already read the first.
“If there’s one thing fear can do, it’s make a beast out of a shadow. It turns us all into monsters.” - Jackal by Erin E. Adams

My favorite subgenre when writing: folk horror.
For this women in horror month, my folk horror collection Mistress of Geese is on sale at Amazon & Kobo.
Guess what? Slavic Supernatural: An Anthology of Slavic-Inspired Speculative Fiction is now out in both paperback and ebook format!
Hummingbird by T. C. Parker is the type of book that I really needed right now, or, well, anytime.
Sneak peek into the paperback of Slavic Supernatural: An Anthology of Slavic-Inspired Speculative Fiction! A little more then one week and it's out. 😊 11 short stories ranging from sad, melancholic tales of revenge, war, opressive societies, to monster-hunting adventures. Check shtriga.com for more info or find out more via @shtrigabooks.
