Going Outside of My Comfort Zone: F/F February

I follow a lot of amazing bookstagramers, so I recently saw the F/F February reading challenge. As someone who writes sapphic speculative fiction and actively tries to read as much of it as I can find, I don’t think I need to explain that I was instantly hooked. But here’s the thing—I’m a bit uncomfortable … Continue reading Going Outside of My Comfort Zone: F/F February

Look at that, a paperback!
It's here! The amazing necklace made by @sarena.vrana that I fell in love as soon as I saw it. "Ajde ne" is a perfect... emotion, I could call it, one I feel very regularly. (Translation would be something like "let's not" but it carries the exasperation in Croatian that is full, well, Croatian.)
Today is a day for a lot of things. It's the first day of spring, World Storytelling Day, International Day of Happiness, International Day Without Meat and so on...
It was a perfect day for a small road trip in Lika. It started with my wish to see a specific river source for my novel writing purposes (it's hard to even call it research... because it's not, not really). And it ended with sunset over the derelict fortress.
Yes, I'm using the #internationalwomensday as an excuse to show some of my favorite women authors and amazing books I loved by women authors. And I wanted to pull of Lesley Knope with her inspirational women photos, sneaking in my own book Mistress of Geese. Because I'm also very proud of it. 💅
It's a beautiful sunny sunday, so perfect for a longer walk in the park while listening to The City We Became by N.K. Jemisin.
Last day of February and of the #FFFeb2021 challenge.
We're slowly coming to the end to February. It's already 27th and for today's #FFFeb2021 here are some of my 5 stars sapphic faves in three different forms. (I've read a lot of great sapphic books not featured here because... they're at four stars. 😓 And not all five stars are my faves.)
I don't know if this a good book for today's #FFFeb2021 since it's an anthology with different authors and not all are sapphic women (today's prompt is a book by OV sapphic author). And I still haven't read it (I'm waiting for a time when I'll have more daylight to read it in peace).
