The Lost Treasure Hunters and Other Tales of Folk Terrors
When you go treasure hunting on the mountain, make sure you leave enough clues for the rescue team to find you.
The collection contains: the found footage folk horror novella, a short story of a she-wolf who moved to the pictoresque mill village Rastoke only to learn it’s already a hunting ground for another monstrous woman, a story of a tired new mother filled with regret and repression who just can’t deal with the weird pink house and the strange, beautiful neighbour and her yappy dogs. And an epistolary novelette of strange sightings of the woman in white in a high school dorm and the teacher-educator who needs to get to the bottom of it (prequel to the dark urban fantasy novel From the Cradle to the Grave).
Titular novella won the Artefakt Award for the best literary work of Croatian speculative fiction (middle-length category) in 2024.

Secrets, lies, and deadly history come together in this dark urban fantasy novel with a spoonful of mystery and a pinch of horror, inspired by Croatian folk tales.
